Shared Ancestors has a new member!
A hearty welcome to our newest member, “geepa” aka Diane Gail Sorey. As you might know from a previous post, I have been searching for cousin Diane and her brother Donald “Punkie” Sorey for quite some time. Well I made contact with both of them! They are related to my Hayes branch of the family. Diane has a lot of stories that she heard from our great grandmother Florence Towe/Sharp Hayes – I look forward to them and adding them to my research. I have also been able to enlighten her on other Hayes family members and send her some photos that she had never seen, including some of her mother and one of her father’s headstone.
So NEVER GIVE UP! Keep chipping away at those brick walls; you never know when they will come tumbling down!
